Rhinoplasty Photos - Case #2906
This woman in her 20’s had a previous rhinoplasty by another doctor. She was unhappy with the residual wide nasal tip, irregularities of the dorsum of her nose, the “scooped look” when viewed from the side and the hanging columella (the area at the bottom of her nose). Revision nasal surgery is more difficult than a primary or initial rhinoplasty as the normal anatomy has been altered by the first surgery. It often takes longer to perform and costs more.
2 years after undergoing a re-do rhinoplasty, her appearance is much better. She has a smoother, straighter nasal profile, her nasal tip is thinner and her columella has been raised.
