Getting Started.

The information below will help you better understand what to expect when you come in for your consultation or procedure.


New Patient Consultation
Your personal consultation will be scheduled after your initial conversation with our cosmetic consultant. This office visit will be made at a time convenient for you, based on availability. Evening hours are available on certain days (after 6:00 pm). Occasionally, cancellations occur because of illness or personal reasons. If you are flexible and can move up your appointment, let the scheduler know this. Hopefully, this will decrease the length of time you have to wait for your consultation.

 

During your initial visit at our office, you will discuss the area(s) of your concern. The key to a successful outcome is to adequately communicate your aesthetic wishes with Dr. Kulick. This may entail bringing pictures of your expectations, or even addressing questions you may have after consultation with another doctor. If you have more than one area that you want addressed, try and prioritize your list. Your input is critical and is the basis for any suggestions Dr. Kulick may have. Dr. Kulick will review each of your concerns and then explain the various procedures available to you. He will also go over the other changes that may occur as a result of the primary procedure you desire. His recommendations regarding the exact techniques he believes will give you the best and long lasting result will be explained, and compared to other methods available. If you have visited other doctors, bring your notes with you so you can make a direct comparison. The immediate and long-term recovery process will be discussed, as well as instructions you should follow before your treatment. Possible risks, alternatives to surgery and long-term planning for your appearance will be openly discussed. Please plan enough time for this visit with Dr. Kulick and his staff so that all your questions will be answered.

 

Finally, he may make suggestions for ancillary treatments or procedures. These other procedures might add to the overall aesthetic harmony. Your privacy and confidentiality is of the utmost importance to Dr. Kulick. Let him know if he can discuss your visit with friends and family as they sometimes call.
